Felix Mamode Akugha, a journalist of 36 years’ experience is the producer and anchor of the programme. A thorough bred professional, Mr Akugha holds a national diploma in mass communication and a post graduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism. A holder of a Bachelors degree in foreign languages and a Masters Degree in International Relations. Mr. Akugha holds certificates from several business schools across the globe including Harvard Business School, USA, Queens University Business School Toronto, Canada, Manchester University Business School, Manchester UK, just to mention a few.

 A Niger Deltan from the oil producing town of Igbide in Isoko South local government area of Delta State, Mr. Akugha was a pioneer staff of DAAR Communications, owners of AIT/ Raypower where he voluntarily retired in 2017 as Managing Director. Very vast in matters concerning the Niger Delta region.

The Authentic Voice of The Nigeria's Oil Rich Region  

Mr. Akugha was one of the early voices in the electronic media championing the course of the region. At different times he had anchored several programmes centred around Niger Delta matters including “Citizens of the South South” and “Issues in the Niger Delta” both of which aired on AIT. For seven years between 2003 and 2010, Mr Akugha was embedded at the NDDC where he reported and covered media activities for the commission on AIT. His knowledge of the region, its people and challenges are very practical and he deploys it weekly towards the programme which no doubt has been most impactful.
